HB SHOES

The 9th of October, the managing director and owner of HB Shoes Ltd -Justin Morgan- visited Leicester college to explain students the brief of the next project.

HB Shoes is an English brand built up in 1964 with a larger trajectory in footwear.

Actually I did not know anything about this brand, it was new for me. Therefore I was very interested to know about HB Shoes.

Justin Morgan said very interesting things, such as he worked in Mojito shoe in 2010- it is a piece of art- I could not imagine I would have met one of its designers. Moreover, he explained to us that HB Shoes uses sheep and cow leather because they are the best material to sell in market at the moment. Also, the brand is producing its shoes in Spanish and Italian factories, and Germany and France are the main countries for selling their products, consuming 45-50% of the production.

Work for HB Shoes will be a fantastic experience where I can design and demonstrate my talent to design shoes for day by day. I cannot wait to see my project completed!

“ Not to use a heel higher than 7.5 cm because HB Shoes is not a brand for younger generations ”
