On Tuesday my colleague Thea and me, travelled with De Montfort students to Flimby (North of England) on bus. The trip costed us just £30, a bargain trip!

However the trip was so long, we were between 7-8 hours travelling. Likewise, when we got to the hotel, Thea and I were very tired and we could not meet anybody from DMU.

Nevertheless, the hotel was so good and comfortable, I slept very well. Thea woke me up doing meditation, she scared me! She is doing it every morning and it is very funny watching her.

After her meditation, we dressed up and left the bedroom to have breakfast before going to visit the factory. Having breakfast we met a girl from DMU, she was lovely and she showed us her work from university, very nice work!

When we finished breakfast, all students got on the bus to travel to New Balance factory. We had to travel 30 minutes to get there.

The first impression of the factory was very good, next to the sea, amazing views! Also, when we got there, all of us entered to a big room where the students could eat biscuits and drink coffee and tea and the best thing was the gift that new balance gave us:

Furthermore, all students had time to introduce themselves and talk about our course and projects. They were lovely!

After that, one of the fifth designers from New Balance came to the room where all students were and started talking about the brief. Also he showed us the new collection of new balance!

I took too many pictures!

Afterwards, we had a tour from the factory and it was amazing. I have never seen a factory like that, also it was so clean and very well distributed.

I loved this trip and I had fun with my colleagues Thea and my teacher Julie, I would love to have more trips like that!
